Job Summary:

Lock Connection, LLC is a small ecommerce business. We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our team. As a Shipping Clerk, you will be responsible for picking, packing and shipping orders. You will also help with managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the distribution process. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills. A minimum of 32 hours/week. M-F 9am to 4pm to start. Some Saturday mornings are required to fulfill orders (2 to 3 hours maximum)

Duties:

- Receive incoming shipments and verify the contents against purchase orders or invoices

- Inspect packages for damages or discrepancies and report any issues to the appropriate parties

- Sort, label, and stock received items in designated storage areas

- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling items according to customer specifications

- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments

- Perform inventory counts regularly to ensure stock accuracy

- Assist in resolving any shipping or receiving discrepancies

- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks as needed

Employees wear many hats, so you will also be trained to program locks, stickering, processing incoming shipments, working on the website, social media management, photography, SEO..ect

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience in a shipping and receiving role preferred

- Proficient in excel ,word and other similar inventory management systems

- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately track inventory

- Knowledge of basic math for counting, measuring, and calculating quantities

- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- Good communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external vendors

- Entrepreneurship spirit

- Positive attitude

- Willingness to learn.

- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
